Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman Wants To Become First To KO Guerrero

Keith Thurman is eager to become the first fighter to knock out Robert Guerrero when they meet March 7 in Las Vegas.

The unbeaten Thurman, of Clearwater, Fla., has knocked out 21 of his 24 professional foes. His knockout ratio (88 percent) ranks right up there with those of WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder (97 percent), WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (90 percent) and IBF/WBA/WBO light heavyweight champ Sergey Kovalev (85 percent).

I think that once Thurman sees that he can't get Guerrero out of there early, and the ghost keeps firing back at him,he's going to resort to boxing and getting booed like he did in the last fight against the unknown 40 year old Italian guy.

I dunno, I think he'll bring more pressure than Chavez did and that was entertaining, hopefully he gets right ontop of thurman and drags him into a slugfest.

This is a nice test for Thurman. Guerreros got a hell of a chin and has descent power himself, so it's going to be interesting to see what Thurman does, if Guerrero s chin could hold up. Guerrero may have been a LW not too long ago, but he's definitely in hisleep natural weight now

He should focus on winning rounds instead of KOing Guerrero. Guerrero's as tough as his namesake. I like Thurman, but I'm picking the upset.

Guerrero will have to make this fight ugly to win. Like a street fight. And I don't see that happening. I got One Time winning this.

Guerrero is not going to just roll over. He is a very determined fighter with good skills. If Thurman is too focused on landing a KO punch he might get himself out boxed and out hussled. I'm picking Guerrero to win a decision.

Keith is going to put a hurting on Guerrero. I think he'll KO him, but you never know.

Guerrero has a chin on him so if Thurman can KO him then it says a lot in my opinion

Someone is gonna get exposed. People think Thurman is this big knockout artist from his KO of a slow as molasses, plodding, no head movement Soto karass.
