I was just saying something similar in another thread, Pacs a world class southpaw with speed and thatll be hard preparing for...as for landin that left early, its very possible for Pac bcuz he'll be fresh, matter of fact i think Pac will try to get floyd outta there early, soon as the bell rings just jump on him.As the possibility of this fight grows im more intrigued as to what Pacs game-plan will be. If anyone is to be able to execute their gameplan against floyd, its Pac.Comment

IDK man, floyds better on the inside so clinching might benefit Pac more. Floyds exceptional on the outside but Pac can close the distance with his better footwork to score, he will get countered and eventually timed so he has to change gears constantly throughout...Floyd has the edge on the inside so he is a slight favorite.Comment

I've always thought that this is the best strategy to beat floyd. Consistant, sufficating pressure. Miadana came very close. Mayweather is very beatable we've seen cracks in his defense. In any Mayweather fight, the longer the fight continues, the more in favor it is for Mayweather.Comment

So Floyd also has the option of "running" and practice his "ambush fighting" techniques...Comment

I guess it just comes down to the game plan-maidana pressed at the right time, pumped his jab in the center of the ring. Ive alqays thought the constant pressure by multiple floyd opponents actually made him a better fighter...but Pac has speed and conditioning so hes not gonna fade, a sustained attack from Pac while working behind his jab will determine his success imo. But hes gonna be getn countered all night for sure.Comment

Even if he wins, there will be no 'dismantling' of any sort. That would involve the sort of risk that Floyd has absolutely no intention of taking.
The biggest problem for Floyd in this fight would be Pacquiao's flurries. They impress judges, regardless of whether they land or not, and there would be thousands of people in the crowd going crazy every time he throws them.
Given the low volume nature of Floyd's approach, there's a real risk he loses rounds on this basis alone.Comment

For once I agree with Sulaiman. Floydie owes the sport that lined his pockets deep. For that reason alone he owes us the Pac fight. And BTW it's great to see posters on here doing some serious technical discussion of how the fight may go. Great stuff.Comment

The scope of the sport is huge. Stars rise and fall, that's how the sport works.Comment
