  • Comments Thread For: Marquez Stands Firm That He's Not Hunting For Brook

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez has once again stated that he's not in London because he's seeking a summer showdown with IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook. Marquez has traveled over to the UK to work the corner of Daniel Estrada, who faces Kevin Mitchell in a WBC eliminator on Saturday night, which is going to be televised live on Sky Sports.

I just don't quite get what JMM is hanging around for, I suppose he could fight Bradley again but that isn't that great.

Danny Garcia would be a good opponent I suppose but can that happen?

Waiting for the 'right opportunity' to win a belt at 147 it seems. Apparently Brook isn't a good enough opportunity.

Wow shocker the cheater and disgrace to boxing isn't going to fight the guy who demands random-blood testing in his fights...

Marquez should just retire...everyone knows he took PEDs with Memo in the 3rd and 4th Pacquiao fights and the Alvarado fight...

Marquez' fights under Memo should all be considered NO Contests except the schooling Bradley gave him when there was random-testing..

Alex Ariza learned his craft from MEMO alex ariza worked under memo in the past!! pacquaio was the first to resist random testing!!! Marquez took the test vs mayweather!!

Now that pacquaio has finally agreed to random testing he fires alex ariza!!!

                  HMMMMM!!!!

I wonder if Marquez would be interested in fighting Thurman now that Thurman is regular WBA champ.

If he wants Brook's title he'd have to travel to the UK, I'm sure he'd prefer fighting in the US.
