More Dismay in the HW Division

i think i speak for everybody when i say tonight was a horrible night for boxing and especially the HW division.

regardless of who you think won in toney/rahman, it was a draw. and in such a defining fight, the last thing we need is no declared as the winner. the HW division has just taken a serious blow by this decision or lack thereof.

this fight needed a winner, whether it be rahman or toney, a winner was needed and yet a winner was not crowned. i think the HW division is lost, and even if some1 rose from the ashes, he wont conquer anything but ashes.

the HW division takes yet another blow, when it was already down and out.

I disagree -- I though Rahman has won and proven tonight that he is number 1 among title holders

regardless of what YOU think, a draw is a draw. you could say rock won or toney won but its a draw.

and the HW division needed a winner and rahman and toney come up with a draw. i sit here, disgusted, frustrated, and clearly upset.

Yes, but Rahman is the legit Champion right now who HAS defended his title against Toney.

im not talking about rahman or toney, im talking about the division. if you could get off rahmans balls for a second and listen:

the division needed a WINNER. it got a DRAW. the HW division is/has been in DISARRAY. and this draw helps NOTHING.

rahman was handed the title and in his first defense, does NOT win (regardless of what you and others say, he didnt win).

rahman didnt win, toney didnt win, neither fighter won, both fighters lost. i heard this from marvin hagler: "if you dont win, you still lose". but the biggest loser tonight is the HW division, who needed some clarity and got more mud and confusion.

              Agreed.

              The Heavyweight Division is cursed.

honestly, the HW division would have benefited immensely by either rock or toney getting just straight up KTFO.

a long drawn out fight that resulted in a draw is like poison for the division.

everybody saw the winner tonight and that was rahman!

the actual scorecard means jack **** nowadays, as, hello hello, aren't all organizations corrupt anyway!!..

this wasn't a soccer or nhl final where the actual score counts, this is boxing, which is based on the people!

Rahman was the title holder and is the title holder!

Rahman walks away with 95% of the fans saying he won!

Toney walks away with his fat ass popped!
