Hatton would have stopped Witter. Witter got dropped by featherfisted punchers a prime Hatton would steamroll him.

I don't think Hatton ducked Witter but he definitely showed little to no interest in fighting him...

Ricky had his eyes on larger pursuits at the time...Mainly he was concentrating on taking his act to the states and becoming bigtime across the pond...Not to mention the fact that Witter was awkward and was perceived to not have a crowd pleasing style...Hatton made a business and tactical decision to overlook Witter...In retrospect it was a wise choice...

LOL at comparing Calzaghe not fighting Froch with Hatton/Witter, and ESPECIALLY Froch/Degale.

Witter was domestic level, when Hatton was rising international superstar. Should Hatton have fought Witter instead of bigger paydays? What exactly did Witter do to deserve a fight with Hatton. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me what he did? LOL he got beat by Timmy Bradley, officially ruining his chances. If he kept winning, he'd have got the shot. But he proved he couldn't compete past domestic level.

Same with Degale? HOW DARE you accuse Froch of ducking this JOKE OF A FIGHTER? WHo has he beaten? WHO! HE LOST TO GROVES!!! I'll say it again - HE LOST TO GROVES.

LOL @ comparing Junior THE ****TER Witter, and James "SON OF GROVES" DeGale with Froch, and Hatton.

                LOLOLOLOL.

Now Froch had a case to fight Calzaghe, as he had success on the world stage by this point.

                  HATTON didn't want none...

A very underrated win in modern times is a young Tim Bradley going to the UK and dethroning witter..
