Will people get off Toneys Nuts now??

    philosophical question, whaddaya think??

both guys looked nothing but mediocre

toney landed the only good shots but didnt have heavyweight power, and cant fight these big guys coming forward

rahman was just as bad, he never really threw a strong right hand the whole night.

I it will be hard to continue to take him seriously as a "Heavyweight"...but at the end of the day, a lot of us remain fans because he is still a "good fighter"...just not a "Heavyweight"...

if only he had the "natural" whatever of a Heavyweight...

I was disappointed in Toney mainly because there were so many rounds that I expected him to open up...but he was just too tired...

Rahman, I am mixed about...I thought he was smart by sticking to the body and jab...and I was surprised that he didn't just try to bomb out right hands which was good for him or else Toney would have won the fight...so Rahman fought a smart fight...

however, I was just disappointed only in the fact that he didn't seem to "take over" as a natural Heavyweight...

but then I think of who his opponent was...

    James Toney...

just as it was hard for Taylor to look good vs an older Hopkins...it is hard for anyone to look good vs an old and fat Toney...

noone is on his nuts. I am a huge Toney supporter and he did not look good. His balance was bad even when he was hitting Rahman with his right hand but I would ahve agreed with a RAhman win or a Draw or a toney win

I'll take Toney over Rahman any day.

Emanuel put it best, "Rahman would be out on his ass if Toney could punch."

Rahman made an idiotic mistake fighting on the inside. It really hurt him on the scorecards and made rounds that could go either way.

Tommy Kaz is a VERY experienced judge. He's old school. He had it even. I'll take his word for it.

          You have to admit.

some people were all on his nuts...claiming he was destined to become undisputed champ. The performance he put on tonight was pathetic...against a mediocre at best opponent. Toney would get reamed by the athletic heavyweights...and Rahman. Well:

Enough said. His fight with Barrett was a joke..and this is no different. Toney's had a great career...and is a lock for the hall of fame.

His run at heavyweight should end now, and he should retire. He'll get beat badly by a real fighter.....and I don't want to hear about how "Well" Rock fought.

He fought the same way he always does....an open plodder and Toney couldn't capitalize.

I find it hilarious that the only ones crying and complaining about Toney are Klitscko nut huggers. Not only are they upset at anyone or anything that could take the spotlight away from their heros,

they talk about how it's tiresome to see nut hugging over another fighter. Could that be anyomore ironic?

The fight was a draw, and I already see some of the nut hugging clowns talking about how it's the end of Toney.

Funny that how when glass chin Wlad was waxed by a fringe contender, that wasn't the end of him, or the nut hugging surrrounding him.

There will be a rematch for this fight. Rock's broke, and a Toney rematch is way more money than a Maskaev fight.

When Wlad was brutally beaten by Sanders and Brewster, did that write him off?

This guys is offline. Anyone want to help me out on who the athletic heavyweight is he's talking out? I guess Wlad, who I would favor against Toney.
