Yeah, and Manny was steam rolled by Marquez and Floyd make him look like an amateur.

You know styles make fights, Mayweather isn't a guy who goes and blasts people out, which is bad news for Manny because neither is Marquez and we all know what happens when he steps in with an intelligent patient fighter.

I don't really care who wins, but if Mayweather has really faded as much as people say from the Maidana fights, then it's a good close matchup. Rewind 5 years ago, i would have taken Floyd easily.

The standout point is that Mayweather is almost 40, one is Pacquiao not far behind, they're both not in their prime but they are still the best 2 fighters around their weight class right now, possibly by some distance. I'm not sure if that's because they are freaks, or because the level of competition is not that great when you realise this fact.

          I agree.

I feel Mayweather has slowed down more which makes it more competitive. I think Mayweather would have dominated this fight 3 years ago, but now I expect him to win a close UD.

Floyd doesn't have the stamina to match Manny's as well... Floyd can no longer maintain the type of movement that he is known for.

On the other hand, Manny is now more composed and boxes more... which will favor Floyd.

Same here, but I also wonder how much Pacquiao has really slipped over the years?

Aside from Bradley, who fought a ****** fight, Manny's level of competition hasn't been stellar, so it's hard to gauge where he really is at this point in his career.

Manny has come back impressively against WHO, exactly? Rios, a plodding, face-first swarmer, an injured Bradley, and Chris (no business on PPV) Algieri. Isn't the "fighter of the decade" supposed to look impressive against such competition? Taking into account that none of the 3 are anywhere close to Mayweather in terms of boxing skill, counter-punching or defense, why is how Manny looked against them relevant to a Mayweather fight?
