Rahman threw 300 more punches, that's right 300 more punches. is there any need for further explanation on why he should have won? bull**** decision, and i'm a Toney fan, but he got his ass kicked tonight, he's lucky he has a granite chin, probably the best chin of all time.

Maskaev is limited, but the way Rahman looked tonight, Maskaev may actually be able to beat him.

I just hope this will put to rest the James Toney fantasy that all these guys are hanging onto. No steroids this time, and he had nothing at the end, was in terrible shape, no balance, just winging wild punches. Any of the top HW's would have owned his ass tonight- Byrd, Wlad, Brewster, Brock, etc.
Most level headed post fight response I've read.

Maskaev v.s. Wlad would be fireworks.

rahman won the fight no doubt about it, but I mean rock why couldnt u throw the right hand more especially after u saw the first solid right handed hurt toney. both of these guys will get torn up by wladimir klitschko. Im just so dissapointed cause I thought rahman won so the division would be clearer and we could seen rahman vs klitschko but that looks distant now. Vitali Klitschko should have never retired...

Another bad call by the judges. Rahman won this fight plain and simple.

he only landed like 20 more punches though and most of those were jabs. toney landed the cleaner more effective punches

Well put. Now its gonna be the what ifs. IE what if Toney came in at 215.

Tough fight to call, along the lines of the Toney Jirov fight.

Like Jirov, Rock was busier, but Toney was landing the crisper cleaner shots.

Rahman seemed delighted that he didn't lose.

I had it around a draw i can't really argue with the judge's decision i totally disagree with Harold Lederman though, Rahman threw a lot more but it was decieving, Toney had a handle on that fight. He should have made it more obvious though.

I had Toney winning the fight by 2 point.
