Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Adviser Details Private Mayweather Meeting

Michael Koncz, adviser to WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, described their late night meeting with Floyd Mayweather Jr. as being "professional and productive."

The two fighters had an unexpected chance meeting on Tuesday night, when both of them were courtside for a game between the Heat and the Bucks in Miami, Florida. During the game, Koncz approached Mayweather and asked him if he was interested in getting together with Pacquiao, which the two fighters did during halftime.

Koncz is on Gayweathers Payroll doe.

Gayweather has paid him due to his hate of Arum, fight ain't happening.
And if it does, Pacquiao has accepted to be paid to throw the fight.

If these issues were so easy to work out why wasn't it done this far into their 'negotiations'?!? This proves there's been a lack of communication from one side and it's not about the broadcasting challenges at all. I can't believe it only took 3 phone calls for it to be resolved. I've been sitting here for weeks thinking they're having a grueling 8 hour conversation about this every day. Anyway, I'm glad it's been resolved and it's publicly known, this leaves very little options for another road block.

          Feeling optimistic again

Once the fight is signed by both guys you are going to start seeing a lot of worry from Pac fans. As they began to realize their last real claim to fame (Mayweather running from Pac) is coming to a brutal end on May 2nd. 1 big question will become what contract did Arum & Pac lie about signing?

Kovalev's dog is a pimp. Looks just like my little guy.

This **** better happen. Maybe this was Floyd's way or their way of just fixing this **** and making it happen without Arum butting into the talks and everything.

              I'm feeling slightly optimistic.

Worry about what exactly? Pac has lost 5 times already....to lesser opponents. Who is really worried?

There's always Gennady Glovokin, especially is if May beats Cotto for the MW championship.

If May tries to drop his title and retire, they can say he ducked GGG.
