floyd struggled badly against a slow plodding maidana in the first fight because he couldn't handle the pressure and the power.

when floyd tastes the speed and power of pac's punches (especially the explosive straight left) on top of the pressure, he will go into survivor mode. pac will hurt and bloody mayweather early and floyd will break down mentally because it will dawn on him that he is fighting someone with explosive speed and power of which he has never faced before.
Can totally see Floyd getting tagged early and pressing to win back rounds like in his Judah fight...only Pac has the stamina to be agressive all 12 rounds for a decision.

    • To all the haters who said arum was the problem, this pretty much proves he isn't. It was some network dispute which they said arum was the one who solved it. Arum has made some of the biggest superfights ever. What has mayweather promotions done? Floyd is lucky hes even going to be co promoting this, however top rank will really be the ones putting this thing together. Floyd stands to make a lot of money co promoting this though

        • If HBO does the commentating, I hope Andre Ward is involved, hes the only sensible voice over there. Roy is too erratic. And if Merchant is involved, im muting it.. If its Showtime then its all good, theyre pretty good and balanced as a unit. And please god, no Harold Lederman, nobody cares about his scorecards. Now who will be the ref, thats the next big question.. I think Bayless is the best there is, even though he doesnt allow boxers to fight out of a clinch.. Even with this flaw i think hes the most qualified.

That is the whole point of us pacquiao fans being in an uproar. If there's enough fan pressure Floyd will have no choice but to agree. In sure hes getting pressure from ShowTime and les moonbes. Its not about wanting Floyd to be known as a coward, its about pressuring Floyd to prove he isn't a coward and that he can actually beat Manny pacquiao in a ring. When Manny beats Floyd I hope you guys dont make any excuses for him.
jjsmyth87 I give you credit for maintaining. Pac-boy and Evol somewhr hiding lol

Its seems to me in my opinion that the Floyd fans are way more excited than the Pacquiao fans..just my opinion.

yup pac has the stamina, heart and the ability to pressure floyd for all 12 rounds.

pac will push floyd to his ultimate limits and win a clear UD.

battered and bloody mayweather will soon after retire in shame without his precious "0". it will be glorious!!!!!!!!!!!

Cotto was getting tagged up too in that fight not to mention Floyd almost dropped Cotto with the uppercut in the 11th round if I'm not mistaken. Floyd fought head up with Cotto and in a boxing match and won. It's not unlikely Floyd gets hit but what he does makes the difference and what he does is win. Maidana, lets be honest in that first fight dude did everything to try to win except stabbing Mayweather.
