That's fine. Keep covering for your idol. Just remember, your hero ducked a bunch of fights, and will never be a GOAT. Period.

No, it's Floydie who has to stop being a whiny little diva... for the good of the sport.... to which he owes his entire fortune.

And as for the Froch/Groves fight, go look up the numbers. Can't remember the exact figure, but they were up there and very impressive for here in the States.

"Floyd Mayweather has been phenomenal for boxing."
I don't think he was kidding but it's not a coincidence that he didn't elaborate on how or why this could be true in any capacity. What a ridiculous notion. Mayweather's presence in boxing has coincided with the worst period professional boxing has ever known and that's no coincidence. He has paved the way for legions of boxers to make their way to the top behind a fighting style with an entertainment value equivalent to watching paint dry, a consistent arrogance, lack of class, personality and charm and carefully chosen opponents who are perfectly suited to the shut down bore fest that passes as world class boxing. Yes the May-Haymon method has certainly added the spark that the boxing world has been sorely lacking before they came along: dull fights and the money is right!
