Honestly, with all these sanctioning bodies, at the very least set some hard rules. There are plenty of guys that are actually fighting and working hard for name recognition at 140 - let someone else fight for those belts. A year (or more) is too long a time to hold a belt hostage. If it wasn't for the fees, I'd say 9 months should be maximum. Essentially, no sanctioning body should approve of INACTIVE champions. One shouldn't "reign" as champion without actually defending that title.

Garcia and his dad are both garbage.

When Danny fought Lucas the Ring magazine put Lucas on the front cover of the magazine a month before the fight makin Lucas look like some kind of killa and totally disregarding the man that had been Ring champion for a year and a half or so, Angel called the Ring out on that crap, after the fight they put Danny on the front cover of the magazine, when they went to interview Danny for their article Angel was screaming "F@k the Ring"..... either a day before or the day of the Salka fight the WBC and the WBA told Danny he'd get stripped if he lost even though the fight was at 143 and weren't on the line, i think Danny don't give a damn about making the WBA and the WBC any money by puttin his belts on the line and paying sanctioning fees, from what i've heard from Angel's interviews they couldn't care less about trophiesLast edited by St. Johns Gent; 01-28-2015, 11:46 AM.

It tells you how poor the jr ww division is when a shot to pieces, bloated, morales gives two of the "top" guys in the division the fight of their lives. Danny is good, that's it. I can't believe the praise some of you guys are heaping on him.

This is ridiculous, strip him and let some legitimate 140 lb contenders who aren't scared of fighting mandatories fight for it
