Floyd: "Damn your dome is big, Manny. I thought it was Ariza's power pellets. But now I see its naturally huge. Gimme a call. I got a good barber."

Manny: "Yeah, ok no problem. It's nothing personal. Just doing my job."

Floyds performances are usually better in September than they are in May.

Floyd is clearly trying to be the alpha already(as he always does when he meets his opponent) in front of a huge audience. Not sure how many will take to Floyd being in his face, saying "I'm #1, you ain't shit", etc. Not because Manny is a coward or anything, it's just because he isn't the type to try and instill fear in a fighter before an actual fight. Not his style and yeah, maybe he's a bit classier or whatever.

These intimidation tactics didn't work that much on Canelo. Not much on Maidana either. They might on Manny though. These face offs, stare downs and pressers might be very uncomfortable for Manny if Floyd's going to be his usual self. You see, Manny can't just laugh and shrug Floyd off. This is the fight of our generation and THE WORLD IS WATCHING. His fans, his country and the people that surround him are watching and taking notes on EVERYTHING. Not to mention Floyd. Floyd is gonna bark louder than he ever has for this fight and show little respect I think.

He may be a man of God but I don't see him allowing Floyd to bully him, if you will, up until fight night. Gonna be a very interesting press tour if these two fight and I wonder if Floyd's antics and tactics will get Manny to break.

PS. Mods are corny for deleting a user's thread with the same exact photo and topic because "it should be in the main mayweather-pacquiao thread" but then going and creating this one. It's like they want to be the only ones who break the news. Sorry guys, it's 2015 and the internet keeps us all abreast equally.

Interesting question, although I think his mind games worked just fine on Canelo. They certainly didn't do anything to Maidana, in fact they probably motivated him further in that first fight to show Floyd 0 respect.

I don't think FLoyd had much respect for either guy (at least going into the first Maidana fight). The last guy that Floyd fought that he really respected had to be Cotto and he always acts a bit different with guys he actually has some respect for. The respect might go far enough that Floyd feels he has to pull out all the stops so you could be right, especially if he feels it could be effective.

I don't think it bugs Manny much he might not have met Floyd much but he knows his deal, still much easier said than done to keep your cool when someone is acting out in annoying fashion over a long period.
