So IF Kirkland is in great shape, trained by Ann Wolfe, and gives Canelo....

...a tough fight that goes 12 rounds but canelo gets the decision, will you give canelo credit for that win? I know a lot of people are saying that's a big layoff, he's going to look bad, etc but let's say he does very well despite the layoff, are you giving Canelo credit for the win. I think the fight itself is going to be explosive so I can't wait either way. Thoughts?

    They won't, at all

They'll say he was shot, has always been a bum, glass chin(Angulo would say otherwise), Ginger is just liked by Mexicans cause of his red hair and pale skin, etc.. etc..

If he was dark skinned and his nickname was pimienta you would've never heard of him and he'd be fighting on Telemundo.

        He gets credit because:

        Kirkland
        Lara
        Mayweather
        Angulo
        Trout

Only Carl Froch rivals him for having one of the toughest resumes in his last 5 fights(Kirkland included). He is only 24 years old racking up a resume like that. Win or lose, he's fighting the smartest boxers out there(Lara, Mayweather) and the hardest hitting guys around his weight class(Angulo, Kirkland). And shutting down all the "ducking" accusations quick, the way he fought Trout and Lara when fans were saying he's ducking them. I believe Canelo when he says he'll fight GGG. I just wish GGG would have the same balls and go up a weight division to fight the best there. Canelo fights all comers, he's proven that. He ducks no one, as long as he could make a fight with them.

Dude, Canelo doesn't get credit for Jack **** around here.

It's always 'Canelo looked bad against Trout', 'Canelo can't deal with movers'

What about the flip side of that, what about how bad Canelo made Trout and Lara look? I would like to hear someone answer this. It's always the glass is half empty for Canelo when it comes to NSB.

That's just an example of how Canelo gets crucified around here. He's up there around the top for most hated, under Floyd Manny and Khan.

Either you like him and you know how good he is, or you despise him and nit pick at his flaws. Most people are the ladder.

Pimienta, Sal, Azucar, Oregano, Sazon, Canelo, etc. Doesn't matter, he beat Lara, Trout, Angulo. Any Mexican beating those 3 in a row would get noticed by millions of fans.

You might but right, or just maybe Canelo has the explosive fan friendly style that would have made him famous anyways?

Damn right, lmao. He'd be labeled too slick for Mexican television, thus forced to drop his beloved boxing and eventually become a cab driver. These ease see life of see Mexican taxi cab driver.

If he actually goes 12 tough rounds and wins Yes. He went 12 tough rounds with Lara and lost(Judges doe), and 12 tough rounds against Trout and won by the skin of his teeth IMO(The judges doe).

Anytime you got a guy coming in just not to dance with you, but to specifically knock your head off it's gonna be tough.
