Its been talked about for the last 5 years but promoting is entirely different.

They would have to do a world wide tour. The press would be all over this fight and would all want to do an exclusive interviews. A media round table wouldn't cut it. HBO and SHO would both want to do an All access or 24/7.

There would be so much riding on this fight in terms of legacy that 3 months is extremely short. Pac usually trains 8 to 10 weeks for a fight. 3 months is 12 weeks. They would probably need a month just for the press tour. And then they would need a longer training camp because of how important this fight is and all the interview requests which they need to do because they want people to get hyped up about it.

I remember someone saying years ago that this fight would need 6 months to promote and I think it was Floyd himself said it

This fight would sell itself even if both fighters went into exile for training, just one media visit which will be a week before the fight.. thats all it needs.

That is what most of real boxing analyst and NSB boxing analyst fail to see. the intangibles.

Most of Floyd's opponents are already a beaten man even before the wiegh-in

they call it head games. Floyd never feel any doubt not a bit of it with all of those he had beaten.

That Floyd head game does not work against Pac and theres a hint of doubt in Floyd mind if he can beat Pac. If skills prevail and he get over those doubt, Floyd wins easy.

But if doubt prevails, Floyd would think twice about every single move he will do in the ring and that split second hesitation would spell doom for Floyd.
