Im wondering why I see posts about Pac being with Nike and endorsements, commercials? Why would any of you bring all that up as if its some kind of hindrance to Mayweather. Mayweather is the highest paid athlete in the world according to forbes, the second athlete behind Tiger Woods to reach 100 mil in one year, a feat that required Tiger to have multiple massive endorsements, and a very active year during the peak of his career. While Mayweather reached 100 mil with no endorsements and only fighting twice nearing the twilight of his career. Pac didn't even make half of what Mayweather did, Pac is not even in the top 10 and for all those endorsements you keep bringing up, Pac only made $800k off endorsements. Mayweather is shattering monetary records and, is popular all over the world, and he did it with out endorsements. I fail to see how this in anyway helps your argument.

It's in response to another poster's claim that Manny isn't popular in the US. Floyd is screwed once he retires since his income is almost all from boxing.Im wondering why I see posts about Pac being with Nike and endorsements, commercials? Pac/khan is actually not a bad match-up. The hypa and promotion for that would be unreal. One thing that bothers me is the attention Khan gets for a mediocre win and how the media blows it completely outta proportion, i mean he can fight v. Ortiz and fools on here would put him on the p4p list. I wouldnt be surprised if they had diego chavez p4p#5 & im not even joking. Khan would be acceptable for Pac only bcuz the Top Rank merry-go-round is COMPLETELY played out and Khan would be a change and for once somebody who has a few fights at Welter, although id rather the guy who KOd Khan (garcia) to get a shot at Pac 1st, at least it wont be another meaningless rematch.
(Crossing my fingers Pac/May gets made and bob doesnt live to see it)Comment

Pac only made 800k last year in endorsements, he is also in tax trouble. I would say that as it stands Mayweather sits in better shape then Pac at retirement. Do you understand that Mayweather at a minimum will Make 64 mill a year, while Pac at a maximum will make just above 40 mill. Once an athlete retires those endorsements will not pay anywhere near the active ones unless you're Jordan or Tiger Woods, and more then likely Lebron James and Derek Jeter. Pac will not be anywhere near these guys, as he's not even near them now. The numbers say it all, as it stands Mayweather would be in better position then Pac if they were to retire today, and that doesnt look to change any time soon.Comment

How do you figure since Floyd makes all of his $ from boxing? Pac can make $ in a lot of other venues when he hangs em up. pac is broke and had the irs seize his home.
how else is pac going to make his money? fighting midgets in china?
pac can't even fight in the USA, the country the made him rich.
Floyd can sell a mill in the USA and sell out the MGMComment

If you read my previous post, Manny has different ways of making money outside of boxing. Floyd does not. Tax cases are contested and can be reduced, thanks for your concern for Pac. Reading is fundamental.Comment

So you think Pac is going to make equivalent to what he makes now with out boxing? Meanwhile the only NON boxing income pac made was 800k. You can listen to 50 cent all you want, but a simple google search you will find Mayweather has 3 known public investments, a tech company, his own promotion, and his own apparel company. You will also find that Mayweather has a team of financial experts, and that Mayweather has meetings with some of the wealthiest investors in America, which would indicate that he may be a silent investor. Mayweather has also said on many occasions that he has invested money to help people start companies. So what this comes down to is are you repeating what everyone else says with no truth to it, or are you ill informed.Comment
