how did floyd "pay the price"?

he milked 2 fights and a zillion dollars out of the easiest opponent he could get away with without having his contract voided

face first brawler with little defense. seemed easy on paper. luckily floyd had pillow gloves as insurance. broner wasn't so lucky.

Broner and Floyd did not underestimate Maidana

Broner and his team thought Maidana would follow the script, unfortunately for Broner he was knocked down so he lost

Floyd and his Team thought Maidana would follow the script, fortunately for Floyd he was not knocked down and the contingency(judges) is there for good measure just in case.

people call him a cherrypicker when he fights the people you call for and wins i.e. Mosley, Canelo, DLH, Hatton...rinse, wash, repeat

just cause you say something a million times doesn't mean its true....proof is in the pudding

Maidana is a world class fighter and one tough SOB....there aint 10 people at 147 who beat Maidana...he is elite at the weight not some trinket holder moving up like Rios and Algieri

Broner might of underestimated Maidana. Even if Floyd did he still beat him twice.

that win for Floyd was clear as day...

keep hoping, and dreaming he loses

its sad that haters would be satisfied with him being robbed or facing someone regardless if they are on drugs just to see an "L" on his record

In all honesty, if Floyd never fought Maidana after the Broner win people wouldve said he ducked him. We have seen it happen numerous times here on this forum. It doesn't really matter who Floyd fights, people just love to hate the winner.
