With that said, it was not the wipe out or schooling people make it out to be either. Mayweather used a lot of defense and jabs, while Canelo could not touch him or get anything off. But I didn't see a lot of good, power punches from Floyd. But he won because Canelo didn't land jabs or power punches at all.

I know there's gif's around of Floyd tagging Canelo with rights but seeing the actual 12 round fight, it was like a low scoring Soccer game.

Thank you for standing firm CJ Ross. It was much more of an even fight than most people are willing to state. Mayweather hit the gloves a lot and missed. The biggest punches were landed by Canelo.

Floyd outlanded Alvarez 11 rounds to one and even had the kid ready cry when the bout was over. That sounds like a schooling to me.
