Not sure if this is a nationally syndicated time slot on NBC Sports Radio 1050AM here in California. But they just talked about how Boxing scene.com had an article about Al Haymon signing another 150 fighters to his stable.
Apparently Haymon is gonna make a go for it at monopolizing boxing and he paid 20 million to NBC to air these fights. They went on to talk about how he's not even making any money off this venture. He's willing to lose money upfront to take over boxing in the long run. His goal is to get to ESPN and slowly have his Haymon blockbuster PPV's with all his fighters and make money on the back end.
Good stuff, I'm sitting in my car listening but want to go inside but this **** is too interesting.
