Something was wrong with Alvarado..it was like he was drugged or something.. reminded me of Collazo when he fought Khan and Tyson when he fought Lewis..something just wasn't right.

Let's Not Get Crazy Over Rios Yet; He KO'd A Shot C-Level Tomato Can

Rios is still in that b/c level category himself. He beat up an Alvarado that it's learned besides battling his legal issues, an arrest, he trained two weeks for the fight with Rios to follow to embarrassing defeats to Provo & Marquez. Just the fight before this, Rios behind on scorecards to Chaves, won by DQ. Let's not get crazy and think Rios is ready for the divisions best. He looked like a deer in the headlights with Pacquiao, and when Provo offered him a fight, he him-hawed and stalled. Alvarado is no measuring stick but to say Rios showed up in shape. He should first go prove himself in a rematch with Chaves and treat him the same way as Alvarado. Thurman, Guerrero, Porter, Bradley, Provo, Brook, Maidana or Matthysse, Rios is not ready for. Rios should try guys like Chaves, Alexander, Judah, Berto, Ortiz first. I have no problem cheering on a guy like Rios who comes to fight, but he's never beaten anyone credible, but gets a lot of fan fare & media attention. Too early to think this guy is a division threat yet, and doesn't deserve any big title shot for a while. Alvarado was nothing more than a drunk out of a bar in Denver.

Not sure about anyone else but to me Rios looked flabby, tired, and without that youthful explosiveness he's come to be known by. He also looked totally drained before the weigh-in. Even an older war-torn Marquez takes this dude apart.
