Why no one on conelo case about not making 154 no more? It been 3 somthing fights that he fought at 155 he fought Lara angulo and now Kirkland at 155

Is this the new norm with superstar they don't have to make weight anymore

so what....Manny Pacquaio has fought at welterweight since 2008 and has had catchweight fights with Algieri, Marquez, Cotto and won and defended his title at catchweights and no one is crying about it.

When they aren't fighting for a belt, I could care less what they decide the final weight should be for a fight. I am sure that the 1 extra pound that they didn't hade to take off, benefitted Lara and Angulo as much as it did Canelo. Kirkland isn't a small guy either, so I am sure he is benefitting from it as well.

If no championship is on the line, it doesn't matter. I would only care if he was using the catchweight to weight drain middleweights, but he's fighting Jr middleweights who would benefit equality from the extra pound.

If he was fighting for legitimate world titles at a catchweight and it was obvious that he greatly benefited from it, I would have an issue with it. The fighters themselves seem to not have an issue with it so why should you? Better question, do you actually think Canelo is benefiting more from it than the other fighters he's facing at these catchweights?

'no one is crying about it' it gets brought up everytime someone mentions the Cotto fight.

It was consistently used as an argument against Manny by Floyd fans for years until Floyd made Canelo come in light.

                  Catchweights suck.

I thought Pacquiao abolished weight classes?
