According to trainer Clemente Medina, Mexico's Alfredo "Perro" Angulo (22-5, 18KOs) is hoping to turn things around. Angulo had a bad year in 2014, getting stopped by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in ten rounds in March and then getting upset a few months late by way of unanimous decision to James de la Rosa.
Medina hopes he can return on a date in May and likely at 160 or 162-pounds. He is unsure if the boxer can get down to 154-pounds again. The fight with De La Rosa was Angulo's debut at 160.
