Regardless of how shot Alvarado is, which is shameful because he had an opportunity to revive his career and he went out like a chump, Brandon Rios looked the best hes ever been. He was very quick and very powerful, and stepped up his defense tremendously. After what I saw last night, he could actually beat some tough fighters in the ww division. Definitely not the same Rios as was in the pacquiao and Alvarado 2 fights. Hes should have completely silenced the critics after last night. No matter how hard Alvarado trained the outcome for this fight would have been the same. He was landing piwrdul, accurate, and very fast punches on alvarados chin for 3 rounds straight, and didn't seem gassed out at all. Would love to see him vs. Provodnikov. I think last nights Rios would beat the crap out of provodnikov.
