Comments Thread For: Espinoza on Showtime's 2015 Plans, Haymon Fighters

Showtime, after televising last weekend's heavyweight title tilt between Deontay Wilder and Bermane Stiverne, has no other 'Showtime Championship Boxing' telecasts scheduled for the time being. Nice work by Kim, reaching out to the other side. Hopefully we get some tougher questions asked of all parties going forward.

I think it's going to happen. The reason all parties have been running around contradicting each other is because they are all bound by the same NDA. Just one man's opinion.

Translation," I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm going to be as ambiguous, and obscure as I can,so that other people can fill in the gaps, and it might look like I actually know something. " this guy is basically sacrificing a goat every day, praying that all haymon brings his fighters back to showtime. This is why I actually tend to believe arum more, when it comes to the negotiations on the Pacquiao vs mayweather fight, because this guy has proven to be just another talking head on someone's payroll.

I have a feeling that showtime is gonna be hurting with these nbc and spoke fights for Haymon.. He has a lot of dates to fill and showtime will probably just get some crumbs like jleon love, mickey bey.. Haymon's grand plan is to do a pay streaming service like wwe network.. He will use ****e and nbc to build an audience and then move the PPv fights to his streaming network cutting out the networks like hbo and showtime as well as the distributors like Comcast, direct tv, etc..

You probably right, I don't think showtime will be completely shutout of fights but they def lost out not having these recent fights announced not being on showtime.. I have no doubts though that eventually haymon is gonna phase showtime out once his pay network is closer to reality.. In the meanwhile, I think showtime will be forced to overpay for fights to get them away from nbc and SIPKE

To me I can see the winners of these PBC fights; later fighting on Showtime.

That would make sense, plus haymon can squeeze more money out of showtime for these fights
