  • I can't post big posts... so this to is dank:

1- Like i said i'm still not sure exactly what happened with the cut off dates, but if you want to blame pac; fine.

2- The head of HBO came out and said the truth. There was no reason for him to take sides at that point as both fighters were still under the HBO banner.

3- No the 40 mill offer no ppv money killed this negotiation. An offer that Floyd TO THIS DAY still defends. I mean its insulting to my intellegence everytime he does. What does he think I am an idiot?

Floyd is to blame, it really is that simple. The only people not saying it are floydgays.

No i didn't. I said Mayweather backing Ariza's claims that he was going to fight on may 2nd, but not pac gave me the slightest impression that he didn't want the fight. LOL. IDC who talks **** to who, those are not viable excuses. I was just pointing out that Bob has really come out after Ariza. Well more so than he was... as you pointed out; just my point.

You said it yesterday or the day before. Better go back and check your post history. Maybe delete it if you can but I quoted it .

But we all know what will happen. You'll "stand corrected" and go back to blaming Floyd at all costs.

Floyd is to blame, you're just too much of a fanboy to admit it or even see it as a possibility.

            • everybody is sitting up here arguing about this article. half of the stuff folks are saying as to why the feel Espinoza is lying can be clairified in his interview on fight hype. it's obvious that the boxingscene article was written based on that interview

              http://www.fighthype.com/news/article19160.html

it debunks most of the posts that try to imply espinoza is lying and bob is telling the truth. but I understand some folks refuse to see any other point of view that's not there own. believe what you must. it is what it is as it becomes more obvious each day no matter what takes place Floyd will always be at fault in the hearts and minds of many.

I want this fight to happen so bad so that I never see another post or read anymore hateful comments about it.

I promise you i didn't. I know that because i wouldn't have thought that was a viable reason to end negotiations. Blaming Bob Arum on the fight not happening, without giving specifics was probably what i was focusing on. Not liking someone is not a valid reason to cancel a 300 million dollar fight.

Is he implying Floyd doesn't want Pac wearing Reyes?
He's implying that, for a fight as big as everyone is expecting Mayweather-Pacquiao to be, it would be foolish to think that the gloves for the fight wouldn't be noted in the contracts.

Floyd and Arum aren't on good terms; how Floyd actually feels about Manny is irrelevant at this point. For a guy who is as big a diva as folks want to argue here, and a guy who is the A-side of the fight, do you honestly believe that Mayweather wouldn't dictate the type of gloves that Pacquiao would be allowed to chose from? Or at least 'put the screws' to Pacquiao (3% of the purse for his choice of gloves).

The notion that Pacquiao could see his PPV numbers crater, get terms that he would've suggested as 'the terms that Floyd offered' and still end up with a 60/40 split of the take is a bit ridiculous.

When Floyd fought Oscar, with both fighters in control of their own careers, Floyd accepted every term that Oscar put forward, took what amounted to a 75/25 split, and had the fight.

Pacquiao doesn't control his own career, has taken two losses and been knocked out since 2012, and has seen his PPVs go into the toilet, yet Floyd is supposed to have offered a 60/40 split of the money and no hoops to jump through? seriously?

I just gave you a reason to blame Arum. With links. Blame Floyd at all costs continues. Nothing will change your mind. Even the truth obviously. Carry on.

                    • I tend to believe that floyd is working to make this fight.. If he didn't want the fight, he would be bashing manny, and talking up khan, cotto, etc.. Floyd being quite is a good sign.

Let the super bowl pass, and have a slow news cycle in sports and they will announce the fight..
