Total punching bag, not sure what the hell his plan was.

He looked like a man on fire with tons of stamina to spare, he looked faster than I have ever seen him look and he looked stronger than I have ever seen him look. People don't normally pull a 180 without some "assistance"...maybe not but it looked out of the norm to me.
It's easy to have amazing stamina when the other guy is just struggling to stand up and the fight ends in a few rounds.

        I didn't see PEDs I saw a shot opponent.

Same forehead to forehead, uppercuts Rios style as always.

Yeah, I guess so. Anything is possible but you would have thought he would have done that for the Pac fight of all fights and he still looked like crap in that one (physically). Tonight, he looked much, much better than I can remember....I guess getting the win over Alvarado meant that much to him.

          • If Ortiz-Rios happens, will it be the first time two brothers go against each other as trainers?

LOL. This guy is acting like Rios is some 40 year old fighter who looked more shredded than he did in his late 20's and 30's.

Rios is 28 and looked skinnier than before. He's always been a high volume guy with good stamina. I don't see anything weird about this performance.

              • I want to give some props to Alvarado. He did NOT want to get up after that knockdown, but for his pride and for the fans, he got up and tried to make something happen. That's how you do it, God damn it.

Rios looked better. Still a little slow in his movements and not a lot of pop in his jab, but when he hit the gas he was relentless. Still a few solid performances left in him.

Alvarado was definitely shot but a shot fighter doesn't make the other fighter come in with 5-8% less body fat than they normally do. Maybe it was just the fact that Mile High was a mile high doe.

                  • Rios would whup Ortiz's ass, don't need to see that fool quit again. Put Rios against Bradley, that could turn out to be a war.
