It's funny how fast a fight can get made when both guys want it.

We have long drawn out negotiations lasting months between Canelo and Cotto and Floyd and Manny with terrible outcomes most likey, then we have guys like Provo and Matthysse who say they'd like to fight and the next week it's already GTG. Same with Canelo-Kirkland which seemed to get made in 3 days lol..
Shocking how fights get made when both guys actually want to fight. Maybe these divas should stop talking about A sides and bosses and actually grow a set of balls and get in the damn ring and prove who the better man is.. Pu**y ass punks.

No it is just easier to make fights between fighters who are still desperate to reach the upper level

Easier, sure, but you got guys like Broner who called out Matthysee and Khan a few times and both wanted it but then we get a Taylor fight and now Molina instead lol... So some guys talk and others are men and back it up with actions..

You're comparing a Cotto vs Canelo fight to Canelo vs Kirkland fight, LOL.

Provo vs Lucas, really???? How come they didn't fight when Schaefer was in charge?

Calling people who punch each other for a living "pu$$y ass punks", unbelievable.

These are all small fry compared to the super fights , and super fights with 2 opposing network contracts and 2 opposing promoters that hate each other , wake up and smell reality .

Given the widespread ducking that currently exists within professional boxing, "pu$$y ass punks" isn't too inappropriate.

If you want something you get it done.

If you don't want something, you have excuses.

There's a saying money moves mountains. It doesn't matter who are the people involve in the negotiation. With the amount of money to be made they are crazy not to bent over backwards to make this fight. Like the OP said, if both fighters are willing to fight each other, all the things need to be iron should be done by now.
