what is up with this 155 weight Canelo keeps fighting at?

he cannot make 154 and be healthy. he'd probably go back there only for a fight with floyd mayweather or manny pacquiao. let's not forget that alvarez sat on a stool during the mayweather weigh in. he looks like a ghost when he weighs in.


canelo's people are trying to market him as something he is not - a junior middleweight. canelo is a middleweight. the biggest fights for him are at 154 against welterweights.

Good fight, I don't think the 155lb Canelo division catchweight will make much a difference because Kirkland is not a small guy.

Canelo better blast him out early before he develops a tolerance to eating punches when he warms up because he could be in trouble at the Kirkland pace down the stretch.
