    Hatton vs. Gatti

What do you guys think about this matchup. Personally, i think it will be almost as one sided as the Mayweather Gatti showdown. Yes, Gatti would probably land more punches against Hatton, but that's because Hattons style would be to rush Gatti. Mayweather beat him down from a distance.

or this could turn into another Gatti/Ward type deal. but doubtful. Hatton throws some of the most powerful shots i've seen. He'd breakdown Gatti's body

Definitely tip Hatton to win this one. Similar 'brawler' styles but Gatti has been in too many wars to stand up to Ricky's speed and power in my opinion.

You're right about the body work by Hatton too, will be decisive I think...

Good fight though and should be a big crowed/ppv draw.

    Can't wait!

A regualar fight on HBO would be good. Not PPV. That fight will only last 5-6 rounds.

Yeah but Hagler-Hearns lasted 3 rounds and those three rounds were PPV worthy, I would've payed 50 bucks to see that fight.

I think the Baldomir fight for Gatti is a very smart fight. Not to take away anyting from Baldomir, but honestly, he fought Judah on Judah's worst night. I think Gatti can pull this on off, and regain a title. And the Hatton taking on an American Favorite in Gatti, will only help his cause in America. This situation would be perfect for everyone. Baldomir gets his pay check... Gatti is a champ again... and Hatton gets to take on a well known boxer in the states to prove himself.

Hatton has too much for Gatti at this point in his career.Other than it making him legit to american fans and winning a title in his second weight division there's no reason to fight him.Come to think of it he should fight Gatti as soon as possible.
