I said it from the gate. Pascal/Kovalev is a good fight and will be competitive. The people who are saying that Pascal has no chance are dumb and should feel dumb.

I'm just saying that Kovalev is all wrong for Pascal. He'll make Pascal work every minute of every round.

5-1 seems a bit steep to me as well.

I love how Roy doesn't just run his mouth for it's own sake when assessing his fighter's chances, but says **** that actually makes some kind of sense (cough, Roach, cough...).

My opinion is that Pascal's chances are largely dependent upon his stamina; if he can keep moving, he may be able (through superior speed and athleticism if he actually does enjoy those advantages) to box to a decision. But if he gasses even a little, Jean is gonna' get cut off, cornered, beat down and KTFO with beautiful (if brutal) precision.

        WAR Kovalev!!!

He has a puncher's chance, that explosive right hand from Pascal is dangerous for Kovalev.

I think Kovalev Ko's him though, his chin sucks and he isn't very good overall.

Kovy's chin is vulnerable. If Pascal can find the way to hit him like Hopkins did on the chin in the late round but with more power, he's got a chance. I dont know if Pascal really has the power to do that, though. All I know is, He's got a chance to beat Stevenson or Beterbiev to it.

Based on what? Getting his foot stepped on and going down against that Aussie? Kovalev has been down once as a pro and I've never seen him hurt since. I swear some of you have never seen him fight and just repeat nonsense you heard. As for this, roy also thought Hopkins was setting up kovalev the whole fight.

I like honesty. But a trainer's job is not only to teach, but to give confidence to his fighter. Not false confidence, but give him sufficient confidence. Possibly upsetting the favorite does not sound very confident at all. Roy Jones Jr lost so much confidence in himself, he's going to rub it off on Jean Pascal, smh.

There's Roach talking **** about who Pacquiao is going to KO in 3 rounds, which is too much. Then there is this from Roy Jones, "good possibility", which is too little.

It's a long shot, but I will go with Pascal on this one by decision.

You mean you actually understood what Roy was saying during the fight? He had Bhops testicles so far down his throat that all I heard was mumbling. As far Pascal is concerned I believe he takes way to many rounds off to have any real chance to win.
