Brilliant Idea to Wind Down Alvarado's and Rios's Careers!

You guys are going to love this brilliant idea that I just came up with while eating dinner earlier tonight.

How about after this third fight of theirs, Rios and Alvarado each sign to fight each other 5 more times: once more in 2015, twice in 2016, and twice in 2017.

Here's the kicker. They shouldn't be allowed to fight anybody else during this time period!

This would be a first in the history of boxing and each of their fights would be guaranteed to sell, not to mention become fight of the year candidates. The May fight should be as an undercard of a major PPV involving Pacquiao, Floyd, Cotto, Canelo, Golovkin, Klitschko, etc. For the pre-Christmas fight, their fight would be the Main Event.

This type of contract has never been done before. Both fighters are guaranteed to make a lot, and they may just find their names alongside Carmen Basilio, Tony DeMarco, Arturo Gatti, Mickey Ward, Jake LaMotta, and others.

The organization that sanctions them can give them a belt called something like "WBC Emerald Belt" to fight for.

Of anything this is the wind down. Alvarado is just about shot and Garcia thinks Rios should retire soon. Where ever the winner goes from here will be their last run at a belt

This bum fight was always unimportant. And not as exciting as Arum got people to believe. The first fight was very good. The second fight, Mike, a bum, figured out how easy it is to outbox Rios. Seeing a BUM run around the ring throwing sloppy slow jabs is AWFULLY boring. The way you box is to be fast, slick, smooth.

Seeing Mike box was not exciting. I dont think this third fight will be exciting. Its going to be some more trash Im afraid!
