        I think Canelo is probably ready to move on from Cotto. He got tired of waiting on him. Canelo vs Kirkland is a good fight. One should never count out Kirkland. That's a fight that would be easy to sell to the fans.
        Putting it on the same night as Mayweather's PPV would definitely screw up Floyd's numbers.

          i think oscar is right. im sure showtime crunched the numbers and realized that they cant expect near the same numbers that mayweather vs cotto 1 did. they wont have canelo bringing in the mexican fanbase, instead he will be taking buys away from them. also, most people already feel that floyd already proved he is better than cotto, so they would rather watch a more exciting fight for free, than pay $70 for a needless rematch.
