Yes, Manny should go back to being #1 if he fights Khan and beat him. Floyd fought Maidana twice. For what??? Because he beat an unproven Broner at 147? According to Ring Magazine ratings, Maidana was not a top 10 welterweight nor on the p4p list. When he fought Guerrero, Robert was at the bottom of the top 10 welterweight list. When he fought Alverez, he was fighting a hype job who had only one true test at the time at 154 in fighting Trout and that win was controversial. So why should Floyd be ranked #1 p4p??? Manny dominated Rios the way Floyd should have dominated Maidana. Then he fought a top welterweight and top p4p fighter in Timothy Bradley, then he dominated Algieri who had a 140lb belt. I

I am starting to lose a lot of respect for Floyd. He is really being disrespectful to the sport and to his fans. I respect his skills in the ring, but how skillful is he if he's not displaying it against the top fighters in the world. He keeps saying he is "the best ever" but keeps fighting C level opponents. The sad part is, his die hard fans really believe him. The top guys at welterweight right now are Pacquiao, Khan, and Bradley. Floyd is the Welterweight Champion of the world, so which one will he fight??? I seriously doubt neither of the 3. Floyd is also the Jr Welterweight Champion. The top guys at 154 are Alverez, Lara, and Trout. We already know he's not fighting Lara or Trout. The top fighter at 140 is Danny Garcia. He's set to fight Peterson, so Floyd won't be fighting him either. So who is left, Cotto the lineal Middleweight Champion of the world??? Its a shame. If that rematch takes place it will be at a catch weight for the lineal middleweight title. That's a slap in the face to all the previous great Middleweight Champions who defended and fought for the title.Floyd is really making a mockery of the sport and if his next opponent isn't Pacquiao or Khan, I won't be buying it. And the talk is, Floyd is avoiding Manny and Khan. So how would he look if Manny and Khan fought each other??? His rep and legacy would take a serious hit in my opinion. What happens if Manny beats Khan? To me, that puts him over Floyd on the p4p list and truly makes it appear that Floyd refuses to take any serious risks at this stage of his career.

The more I think about it, I would rather see Pacquiao-Khan- two guys who will truly fight anybody. Only such fighters could ever claim to be number one.

Chris Algieri and Brandon Rios were big fights? Get out of here, both those fights were meaningless and huge flops!

Now suddenly Khans name doesn't "hold any weight" but Floyd was willing to fight him last year. I don't get it.

A Khan win is no better or worse than a maidana win.

I agree with everything he said tho

It's a different style that Floyd hasn't fought in years.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make though.

It's another contradiction from Floyd, one of many. Last year he was willing to fight him, now he's not? If no Pacquiao I would prefer a Khan fight.
