Where have I shown any confusion over a mandatory?? I even said considering the circumstances its a decent fit on this occasion.. You are right tho, coz every single mandatory takes place without fail in every division - silly me!

Also my "crackpot theory" is based off Kell's record pre-Porter. Fair play, he went to America and got the belt. Lets see what he does next... My money is on strategic names, to keep him going, keep the Sheffield live gates and PPV money coming in from Sky whilst they await Khan. All he needs is a WBO belt and it sounds like a Warren world championship career.

Be honest Dirk Diggler, if the Khan fight dont come off, do you expect Kell Brook to go to the States to fight a Thurman, Bradley, Danny Garcia, Maidana, Guerrero level opponent?

Brook's record pre-Porter is pretty irrelevant. He worked his way into a mandatory position and won the world title.

He already went over to America to fight Porter so I have no reason to believe he won't do it again. Either that or get a big name over to the UK.

What I didn't get was how they are "Warren/Calzaghe" after one title defence which is a mandatory i.e they would have to take it at some point anyway. That is where it seemed you didn't know what a mandatory was. How can it be a "Warren world championship career" when he has yet to even make his first defence? Very odd analogy.
