Who would win in a Amir Khan-Lucas Matthyse fight?

I can remember after Matthyse KO'd Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia KO'd Amir Khan the year before, I made a post about who'd win between Khan and Matthyse.

A person replied saying for me to spare Khan some mercy, lol. But seeing as how things are going ATM, who would you choose to win?

I picked Lucas by decision. I think he's a lot more technically sound than he often gets credit for and he's one of the more consistent pressure-fighters at or around 140 pounds. I'd see him keeping Khan on the back foot all night and probably getting in his kitchen a few times. The only guys I've seen Khan definitively outwork are people with no real inside game like Malignaggi, Judah and Alexander.

If Khan had a chin I'd say he wins quite easily, infact is Khan had a chin I'd say he would be favourite over almost everyone from 140-147.

I'd still favour Khan to outbox him but you always worry about him getting caught, need to see him in against a pressure fighter with his new style under Hunter to make a real judgement.

You mean like a Hagler-like chin right? Because Khan's defense is too poor. If Khan had a good chin, Matthysse still knocks him out.

Khan gets laid out. He might do well early but I can't help but think he'd get caught eventually.

Khan makes t interesting for the first 3 rounds or so. matthysse tags him early, and take him out around the 5th.

Lucas wins by KO in my opinion. Lucas has the assets that trouble Khan the most. He has fast hands and a good variety of accurate punches and he throws lots of combinations. He has real power in both hands. He is very determined and keeps after his opponent hard round after round. He will give Khan no rest and sooner or later he will hurt him and he is a great finisher.

Matthysse is all wrong for Khan. He will land eventually. Maybe even often and eventually it will be too much.

I really really really don't think Lucas would be good at 147. Classic case of power puncher going up to a division and losing his only advantage and thus being garbage.

Lucas doesn't even look big at 140. Khan fills out because of his frame and height.

I think Khan destroys Lucas at 140, and I don't think Lucas would be very successful at 147. Without his power, he doesn't really have much to beat the top fighters. And he would not land much on Khan anyway. Lucas ain't an inside fighter. From where Lucas throws his punches, Khan is dominante.
