Comments Thread For: Quigg: I Want Carl Frampton, I Would 100% Beat Him!

Scott Quigg has stoked up his rivalry with Carl Frampton by suggesting the Belfast man is the ‘easiest’ world champion to face in a unification clash.

The WBA champion has frequently spoken about his desire to face Frampton and a showdown between the super-bantamweight pair carries even more significance after the Northern Irishman took the IBF title in September.

WBC king Leo Santa Cruz failed to impress while halting Jesus Ruiz last weekend, while another champion Guillermo Rigondeaux was dropped twice in a recent stoppage win over Hisashi Amagasa.

This fight needs to be made. The winner of this fight can fight Mares once he dismantles LSC.

This fight needs to happen, and when it does I hope either HBO or Showtime buys it, I don't feel like watching this one on my computer.

The stumbling block might be the fact that McGuigan won't want Frampton fighting outside of Belfast, which gives him a 15% head start.

Don't write off Quigg in this fight. I think we've yet to see the best of him.

Frampton is the A-side here, time for Quigg to fight outside of England for once.

I agree. Frampton is favourite though

Gonna be painful watching the build up though having to swallow the bs of this being a 'unification' fight
