I don't see why Floyd would care whether SHO gets a fair deal from HBO. It does NOT affect his 6 fight guaranteed contract with SHO. Floyd has no problem cashing in his 40+ mil guarantee from SHO for each fight, even if SHO loses money. But NOW, you say according to the LA Times, Floyd won't commit to the biggest event in PPV history unless SHO gets a fair deal?? LOL

It's not an excuse. He could've just badmouthed Arum and that's it. SHO-HBO would not have been affected. But Floyd insinuating that Pacquiao didn't agree or he didn't agree doesn't help the SHO-HBO negotiations. Coz now SHO has to tell HBO, ignore what Floyd said and let's continue negotiating in good faith.Comment

Like I said, Arum has been badmouthing him throughout the process. Soon as Floyd says something you think he's looking for a way out. But you wanna call someone biased. Right. It's not an excuse. Mayweather didnt insist that Pacquiao didnt agree to the terms per se. What he meant was that it doesn't matter if he agrees or disagrees because its Arum (aka his boss) who has control on what Pac agrees to. Which is true and I dont see how that would negatively affect negotiations between Showtime/HBO based on just that. It's not an excuse. He could've just badmouthed Arum and that's it. Plus he said he believes Pacquiao wants the fight and isn't a problem.Mayweather didnt insist that Pacquiao didnt agree to the terms per se. Youre right. Maybe he's looking to make things up to them but its Mayweather we're talking about and all he cares about is himself so probably just trying to get more money for himself. I want to know though how much that maybe affecting Showtime/HBO's negotiations.I don't see why Floyd would care whether SHO gets a fair deal from HBO. Did Floyd really say he won't sign on the fight until Sho gets a better deal? Lol, thats the worst and most ridiculous excuse yet. He never minded losing Showtime money on his fights. This is the ******est thing he has yet said.
I think Sho can look out for themselves, and would not agree to the fight if the terms were unfair. It really does sound like Floyd is really trying every and anything to find a way out. Lol, he really does not want to fight Pacquiao at all.Comment

If that's true, then basically Floyd is hiding behind SHO. I really hope that's not the case. I don't think SHO wants their fighter to say he won't commit to a Pacquiao fight unless SHO gets a "fair deal". Floyd does not and should not know SHO's business. He just needs to know his guaranteed purse and the final PPV buys!Youre right. Maybe he's looking to make things up for them but its Mayweather we're talking about and all he cares about is himself so probably just trying to get more money for himself. thats jumping to conclusions. We dont know his involvement in the HBO/SHO discussions. Im sure if HBO/SHO do come up with an agreement they wont let Mayweather's approval stop them from making the fight if that is the sticking point.Did Floyd really say he won't sign on the fight until Sho gets a better deal? Lol, thats the worst and most ridiculous excuse yet. He never minded losing Showtime money on his fights. This is the ******est thing he has yet said.

im not saying i believe the things they say but i can say eh this is plausible or not. think of them like politicians. they all liars but i can vote for one of them because the crap they say can be towards the better rather than nothing or not high on the priority list. you have to pick one in order to have a say otherwise you pick no one, you say nothing. It doesn't make sense cause people are believing known liars.
What you wait for is a signed and announced fight. I am not saying wait for either side to tell the truth cause they are never going to do that. Besides winning at the negoiation table this is also about winning or at least looking decent in the PR war.
So with knowing that it doesn't make sense to me for some of the people here to be so personally invested in the words of known liars.
if you sit and reserve judgement thats all you can say. you cant stick up for one of the sides with deflection or excuses. if mayweather accuse bob of railroading the fight, cant be like well bob said this and that. or sign the contract but then return with tv networks though. it means they are choosing a side to believe when it should be like **** what both of them say.Comment
