Kirkland's one of my favourite all-action fighters period but 3 fights in 4 years I'm not sold. He'd only have a punchers chance but I guess this is a nice little CV filler for Canelo.

Canelo is always looking to put on a show for the fans, and we know that Kirkland is a guy who always comes to fight.

Would have rather have Cotto/Canelo, but this is not a bad alternative.
