Nobody is "ducking" anybody. There are legitimate business issues to resolve. Doesn't mean that either side is trying to avoid the fight.

The deal would be signed as soon as the networks agree on broadcast rights.

I don't believe there is an agreement in place. I think Pacquaio and Bob Arum did the same thing that De La Hoya and Saul Alvarez did to Miguel Cotto -- which is to agree to their own terms -- and then claim they are waiting on the other side.

There is no agreement in place. I don't believe that 60-40 split that Arum led media to believe and probably told media members was in place has been agreed upon. Arum is lying. He lied several months ago. He lied several weeks ago and he is lying now. He is using Koncz, Pacquaio and the gullible, lazy bloggers who call themselves boxing journalists to cover his ass so they will blame Mayweather when Arum says at the end of the month that the fight is not made.

Unfortunately, the dumb fans on this site will believe anything Arum tells them.
Too much rationale for this board. Its not even worth addressing those morons at this point. They're too damn ignorant and what we say wont change anything.

Fight still is being negotiated and I hope it gets made.

I guess Cotto doesn't want to accept $40 million flat with no pay-per-view, Floyd better up that offer or else have to settle for Khan

He could block the fight regardless of what GBP has to say out of spite because of Pac and team failing to hang around to complete a FMJ fight.
In business, deadlines sometimes do more harm than good in the long run.
Haymon being an advisor to Khan doesn't mean that much, other than, Khan pays Haymon to be able to fight his fighters.

Haymon fighters have different deals with him. And Khan is a free agent, which is exactly why Arum is open to Khan facing Pac, as Arum will not have to split his promo fees.

Pac Khan is legally possible, they would not be talking otherwise. Team Pac have been mentioning Khan as plan B quite a bit.

Wow,it really takes a certain kind of person to say that the sport would be better with Pacquiao. Is he a bad boxer,is he a bad person? I understand that Floyd fans dont like him, because he poses an actual treat, but damn, don't make it so obvious that you want him to leave before he gets the chance to give pretty boy Floyd the ass whuppin that's been coming to his cherry picking ass for years. After that, then pacquiao can leave,so Floyd fans will find someone else to hate for no reason.

Wrong. Haymon has significant influence over Khan as he does over all his fighters (Including Mayweahter) and negotiations between Khan and Pacquiao would involve both Arum and Haymon and we all know that wont be easy.

Khan is exclusive to Showtime... no way HBO and Showtime work that fight out..it's not big enough...

Pac v. Maidana is more likely than Pac v. Khan...
