Does anyone beleive brain trauma has really affected JT?

There have been studies linking NFL players and suicide with concussions. Ever since Taylor had the brain bleed due to getting ko'd it seems he is a different person, or according to the media. Anybody know if Jermain Taylor was a bad guy or thug wannabe before his brain trauma. An attempted homicide charge now this. Maybe there is a link?

I have no doubt that it has badly affected him.

You don't take punches to the head, some brutal knockouts and ultimately suffer brain damage and just shake the effects.

Brain injuries affecting personalities are well documented. I believe it.

It's more than obvious to me. If he was this violent and psycho pre bad knockouts he would have never made it to the top of the division. He would have gone to the jail for ten years and have launched a comeback around the time he started losing to Pavlik and the other fighters.

Quite possible. In combination of drugs/alcohol.

It definitely affected him...I remember on his way up he was a humble quiet guy who survived the rough streets Arkansas.. He had his wife and kids and a beautiful home with all the luxuries after he won the title... Ever since that brain bleed he hasn't been the same...seems very paranoid and quick to react over minor things..I feel bad for him and the doctors that cleared him should be investigated...look at Edwin valero a once in a generation fighter...after his accident which he had plates screwed into it he was never the same...he became paranoid and violent and was still cleared even though he had trauma to the brain...sad stuff man
