floyd bringing up ppv numbers even though theres a reported loss of 16 million for his past two fights. what was floyds last ppv official ppv numbers? Ill wait........

its also pretty ****** for him to say that pacquiao hasn't agreed to it cuz hes "now his own boss", because a promoter can do his damnest to have a contract signed, but what happens when the fighter doesn't sign the said contract? So again thats ****** on mayweather's part.

Last I checked, on the lowest end, Mayweathers last fight did 800k and Pacquiaos did 300k. That's a pretty significant gap, wouldn't u agree? Any losses reported, as inaccurate as they are regardless of how many times it gets brought up, are due to Mayweathers guarantee, not the amount of ppvs he sells

Of course he has some say. If Pac didn't like the terms or whatever, fight would not happen. Since Manny said he agreed, Floyd can't say that Manny is ducking or scared, like team manny is trying to do to floyd, so hes trying to belittle him with the "im my own boss" card.

And Floyd did say they were working hard to make it happen and hope it does. I will take that as some positive.

Holy ****, is Floyd an idiot....Where do I start??? First of all, lets start with Pac not being his own boss...He recently re-signed with Arum...Does Floyd have a copy of that contract?? Does he have inside information on the terms of that contract??? If in fact Pac agreed to a 60/40 split along with random OSDT and all the other marketing/promotional things that benefit Floyd such as his name being first/bigger on the advertisement than Pac's, etc. If Floyd isn't happy with that then its quite obvious he doesn't want the fight. What more does he want? 20oz gloves and Pac cant throw straight lefts?

Floyd said Pacquaio isn't to blame here, that it's not his fault.

And I don't want to sit here and point the finger at Pacquiao and say 'it's him.' It's not Pacquiao, it's his promoter.

The funny thing is, Pacquaio indirectly says such after every fight, things are based on what his promoter decides.

You are 100% correct. His deal is such that he can walk away, he doesn't HAVE to fight. He could have effectively retired already.

But yes, a lot don't seem to understand the difference and point he was making. They even ignored the fact that Mayweather clearly said it's not Pacquaio's fault! Imagine that! He clearly said Pacquaio isn't at fault here, that it's really Top Rank. But of course, that went over people's heads here.

Why do you think that is? Because secretly, they don't want the fight. They hope it doesn't happen so they can blame him irrespective of facts.

I'm still trying to figure our what Floyd said that was wrong? Lost in all of this is the fact that he admitted they are trying to make the fight happen. Some people are more interested in bashing Mayweather st all costs than the fight actually happening.
