Nah I disagree. And I believe the Bradley win was an excellent one. But I doubt Tim would be competitive with Lara, for instance. Canelo is a good big fighter. Bradley a good little one.Comment

Margarito was washed up and hadn't notched a significant win in two years. I don't even acknowledge that. That said, Bradley and Clottey are better wins than Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz. However, Mosley was a better win than Clottey at the time (they were both made at the time) and Canelo was a better win than anyone Manny's fought since...Cotto?Comment

Pacquiao was out cold though, and Rios is miles better than Taylor.Comment

Manny has no say, and I do not see FMJ or his team setting deadlines.
Next, a consistent statement from one side is not always a true statement. Since Arum likes to run his mouth, I believe more pertinent questions would give the fans real answers. Example 1 - Bob, you state you have agreed to FMJ's contract demands, then has Manny signed a contract for the fight? Example 2 - Since you have agreed to FMJ's contract demands, what is the status of the network negotiation? Example 3 - Bob, is Top Rank a part of the network negotiation? Example 4 - Could a contract be signed before the network negotiation is completed? All of these questions would take away the vagueness of statement such as, "we have agreed to everything." Too bad, boxing writers suck.
Next, FMJ stated that negotiations are still ongoing. Actually, that statement coincides with media reports of HBO and Showtime continuing their negotiation. Now, I am not sure why Arum keeps stating they have agreed to everything, since all reports state the network deal has been completed. And if the network deal has not been completed, then contracts are not available. Also, you would be a fool to assume that Top Rank is not involved in the network deal, just like FMJ.Comment

Yeah he was washed up. I watched his fight before the Pacquiao one. Definitely a shell of himself.Comment
