Jean Pascal has no respect for his countryman, WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson. The two Haitian-born Canadian stars have a real rivalry brewing. They respective agents were in talks last year to stage a fight for this coming April. They were unable to reach an agreement.

Pascal is the mandatory challenger to Stevenson's title. He could have sat back and waited for the opportunity to fight for that belt. Instead he's scheduled to challenge WBA/IBF/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev on March 14th at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The World Boxing Council has ordered Stevenson to face the winner of that contest.

Pascal is right.. but I'd still like to remain to people that Bernard Hopkins told Stevenson they were about to fight.. and it's the main reason why Adonis move from HBO to Showtime. I think he tought Hopkins would beat Kovalev's ass. Well, that's what I think..

Its refreshing to see one of stevensons peers say what all of the fans of boxing have been saying for quite some time. There's not nearly enough duck shaming going on amongst boxers today. If there was better fights would get made. I think the public spoke when Stevenson fonfara was watched by only 250k people which is pretty much the most pathetic number ever. The fans have spoken no more cowards! Hopefully haymon gets the picture

Its an intriguing fight but if old man Hopkins can school Pascal, kovakev should have no problem doing it as well. I see kovalev being one of the ppv stars when Floyd and Manny and cotto retire. Him along with ggg, Terance Crawford, and Mikey Garcia.
