There is no fight if HBO and SHO can't come to an agreement. Also no contracts are drawn up until all parties agree on all points.
So to push the agenda that Floyd needs to sign the contract is bogus, just like Bob Arum stating prior to the Algieri fight that the networks were in agreement regarding broadcasting this fight.
I think HBO would frown on Bob and Manny if they pulled out of this fight after they have taken the time to sit down with Shotime to reach an agreement.
I really hope this fight happens and no one backs out this time around.
I agree, I think its the networks not agreeing on terms. I'm good with the Cotto rematch. Time is ticking.

Extremely strong chatter than Mayweather-Cotto 2 is imminent.

Cotto's adviser earlier today also said there were no updates on negotiations... didn't deny they were happening:
Michael Woods ***8207;@Woodsy1069 5h5 hours ago Brooklyn, NY

I asked @eaag if indeed Cotto-Floyd 2 is near fruition. "Honestly no update," Cotto advisor told me

Neither Floyd nor Cotto have been negotiating in good faith with their potential opponents. Both Pac and Canelo agreed to their terms and were given the shaft for a pointless rematch no one asked for.

I think Pac-Canelo should go down on May 2nd, 150-152 catch weight just to be a giant **** you to Floyd and Miguel.
Hey Phukk face, show some respect to Dan Rafael, probably the most unbiased, professional, thorough Boxing writer in the business.

That will be Floyd's next excuse... "The Networks couldn't come together and agree". If Floyd's the man as he thinks he is and SHO is on the hook to his $200M while Floyd has had declining PPV numbers since the Canelo fight, then Floyd should lean on SHO to come to terms with HBO... Floyd stands to make $120m... You lean hard on SHO. Or you can fight Cotto again for $30m, a fight nobody is calling for. Let's see.. Pacquiao=$120M..... Cotto=$30M.... I know it's simple Math, but Floyd can't even read Harry Potter.

I read from Philboxing.com from its forum that it is a 10oz gloves for both, if it's true or not, I'm not sure. But if it in deed a 10oz gloves, there's you're A side making sure he got everything in his favor. The Best Ever my ass.
