While he was promoting the Algieri fight, Arum stated that Showtime and HBO had already agreed to terms on the broadcast of a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight. No one seems to remember that lie from Arum as they blindly accept his comment about Pacquaio agreeing to Mayweather's terms for a fight.

Wow get your facts straight he said they had agreed in principle not agreed to terms. Its amazing duckweather fanbous are trying to spin this to make it look like arums fault. Arum and mamny have been the ones publicly saying over and over they want the fight and Manny had agreed to fkiyds terms two weeks ago and Floyd hasn't yet. Nobody from floyds camp has disputed that facts. And then you have Espinoza saying cotto and khan are also attractive options, basically saying just as attractive as Manny. If its not clear Floyd is the one who doesn't want the fight you guys really need to have your head examined. All evidence and what we know shows Manny and arum are trying everything to make the fight while Floyd and his side dint seek interested. This is exactly how it will play out. Floyds side will wait and wait just like cotto did until arum cant wait any longer and then arum will say he cant wait forever and move on like any logical person would do, and then mayweather will fight cotto like he had planned to do the while time, and you guys will spin it to say arum didn't want the fight. That's exactly what's going to happen. If he wants the fight just say it, **** up and sign a contract

That is what fans get for believing the BS posted by so-called boxing journalists who claim to have inside sources or reliable sources. I have said before, and still maintain, that these inside sources or reliable sources that all these boxing bloggers claim to have are nothing more than thoughts they get while sitting on the toilet taking a dump or speculation derived from reading all the conspiracy theories posted on this site.

I would swear on everything sacred that anytime I read something that some boxing blogger posts on a website that he passes off as a legitimate news story from inside or reliable sources , it is always something that I read on this message board first. For example, the alleged issue about the networks feuding over the broadcast rights of a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight is something I read as speculation on this site a week or two before Ronnie Nathanielz wrote that ridiculous article that quoted no source. Then, lo and behold, there is a blog post written about it that quotes no source, reliable otherwise, and dumb fans jump on it as if it were factual.

Exactly, this is how I see it as well. Arum is flapping his gums without saying anything as usual. "Agreed to this & agreed to that" I hope the fight happens, but I'm skeptical and losing hope as the days pass.

If Arum and Pacquiao are totally lying and have never agreed to anything, why doesn't Showtime, Espinoza and floyd call them out on it? Why haven't they refuted any of Arums or Mannys claims?

All of a sudden, Floyd's big mouth is nowhere to be heard. He taunts Pacquiao when fighting Pacquiao is unlikely but now that real negotiations are going on, Floyds lost his balls again.

Floyd has used that excuse in the past as a reason to not fight Manny and it never made sense just like most of his other excuses. First of all mayweather was under golden boy fir every single fight so hes only recently became his own boss, and either way how is that a reason to not fight someone? If mayweather doesn't accept the fight he is done for, the cotto fight will sell less than maidana fight. He will go down in history as the biggest coward ever in boxing
