Floyd backed out and Floyd alone? Thats the typical treatment Floyd Mayweather gets by the media. If you kept up with reports you would know the latest setback is by HBO. Lewis-Tyson had a condition where whichever fighter won, that network got exclusive rights to the replay the following week. This time around HBO is trying to get the rights to the replay nomatter what the outcome is, because they believe Floyd is the favorite. So no... Its not all on Floyd if this fight doesnt happen but people will still ignore everything and say he didnt want the fight.

So you believe that replay rights is what will destroy this billion dollar deal??? Seriously?? You just bought into what I predicted. SHO obviously has to protect Floyd's image. So if he backs out, they have no choice but to cover for him.

Any rational person knows that something like delayed rights wouldn't kill a huge deal like this. Most likely in this case, the network with the winning fighter has to pay a licensing fee to the losing network to replay the fight exclusively. So they are just haggling over the fee. That's hardly a deal breaker.
