New world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has described Tyson Fury as ‘an entertainer’ and would be happy to put his title at stake against the Englishman.
On Saturday the 29-year-old became the first American to win a heavyweight world title since 2006, when he beat Canada's Bermane Stiverne on points to claim the WBC crown in Las Vegas.
Wilder has already dispatched another Briton – Audley Harrison – inside 70 seconds and is also keen to arrange a future unification clash with WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko.
