Something I believe most have overlooked about the MAY 2ND DATE.

Canelo as we all know is adamant he wants to fight on that date whether it be PPV or normal viewing. People question how can HBO let this happen and so forth.

What I don't think people have questioned much if at all is the timing of the event. It'd be perfectly fine for Canelo to fight whoever on normal HBO prior to the Floyd card starting, this is what UFC have done when going on the same date as Floyd's fights.

The date won't be an issue in my eyes as long as Canelo doesn't have a PPV at the same time as Floyd's.
