Carl Froch is aiming to return to the ring in the summer after picking up an elbow injury in his return to training.

Froch’s team have been in deep talks with Julio Cesar Chavez’s camp about a potential clash in the spring in Las Vegas following his stunning win over George Groves at Wembley Stadium in the summer to retain his IBF and WBA World Super Bantamweight titles, the injury has forced The Cobra to adjust his sights to another blockbuster summer bout.

Looks like we're getting DeGale-Froch in the summer.

I heard it was going to be DeGale-Kessler on the undercard of Froch-Chavez/Hopkins. Ah well.

Not a fan of the Hopkins bout; it does nothing for Froch, and would provide further ammunition to Calzaghe. DeGale-Kessler is a good fight, though.

Bob Arum is the reason for this "postponement", there is no injury. Froch is not the name he thinks he is, and I doubt Hopkins-Froch would even land on PPV at this stage. I find it amazing that Froch admitted the other day that Ward would just beat him on points, but said it as if that was an insult!? And people think this clown is some sort of super warrior who somehow "deserves" a big fight in Vegas - lol

He is highly overrated but why do you believe that Junior is washed up at 28?

Froch is a well known PED user, so this injury is not surprising.
