What has that got to do with MW , if he wants to go to MW it should be 160 unless the MW champ wants it lower , I didnt like Floyd fighting Canelo at 152 but Floyd was the one being called out and he also held 2 154 titles so the circumstances are a little different , at least Floyd was honest when a reporter asked him why 152 and he said " it will make the job a little easier " .

I am just stating that Floyd is the cash cow here. We all know that Cotto stalling the Canelo negotiations is NOT because he doesn't want a REMATCH with boxing cash cow. So if Cotto wants the rematch with Floyd then Floyd could say hey I am Champ @ 154 fight me for my belt, right? This however is NOT what I want to see I rather see Floyd if he does fight Cotto do it at 160 and go for a belt at the higher welt class.

And Flooomos be like 'Dis is fo legusy doe'

Mention Cotto for the middleweight title, Floyds the man, he's going to get the another title in another division, legacy, cements his place, blah blah blah

Mention GGG, THE best middleweight in the division, but but Floyd is too small, he can't make the weight, he doesn't belong in that division.

Jotto/Fraud II is an insult to fight fans everywhere

I understand the politics of it all , its the legitimacy I question , I believe if you want to fight for a title then you go to that weight class and it is the champions right to decide where when and at what weight .

If Cotto wants to fight Floyd at 154 so be it , but if Floyd wants to fight Cotto for his MW title then Cotto should decide the weight .

I see what your saying I just think boxing is getting the raw deal with all this weight manipulation thats gone on over the last 10 yrs .

I'm not sure but it wouldn't make much of a difference, Cotto isn't that much bigger.

I dont like catchweights, 160lb to have some sense to the fight cause at 154lb we seen him beat Cotto

But May only cares about easy money, whatever makes hes fight easier with a lot of money hes gona do it

makes a lot of sense for floyd, its one of the easiest availabile and at 160 he can make it about his legacy and fans will defend it

Neither guy is all that massive (Cotto is basically a small 154), so the weight isn't too significant. Neither guy would walk into the fight at 160 anyway.
